It was incredibly delicious. All the food was fresh and tasty. The idea of cooking right on the table is super. The service was friendly. The interior is simple, but clean and cozy. We’ll come back and will recommend to friends.

The restaurant is clean and cozy with a relaxing atmosphere. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented – the California roll and sashimi platter were absolutely delicious! The grill section was also impressive, with tender and juicy beef cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. Overall, it felt like great value for the quality and experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys sushi and grilled dishes!

As you read further, you can see how stupid and weird some customers are. This is a buffet place, you can eat whatever you want, some silly customers even comment not full enough? come on, you can order more! And service is not bad at all, you are here for the food, why you care so much about service? If you want to be a "god", then go to the 5-star hotel, no one point a gun on your head. The place is clean, nice and the manager is also cool! So far, this place is the best buffet place in Edmonton, I have been there about 30 times in the last year with my friends, they have really good shrimps, flavored beef, everything is good except the oyster. So far this is my best place in town, the price is very reasonable.

Mayfield common *hidden gem* can not say enough good things about Lava Rock and sushi. This is a very cozy place for date nights, special occasions, or just a relaxing evening out. The menu options are pretty amazing and easy to place your order. Also beautiful art and unique style of decor. We had the all you can eat option.

This is absolutely my favourite sushi place in Edmonton it is beyond good and the price is so worth it. It is AYCE and I highly recommend there is also a grill top to cook lots of yummy meats on you cannot miss this place. I cannot wait for my next visit I bring all my friends and family here and they all say the same.

Fantastic Food and Service! We had an amazing time here. The service was great—friendly and attentive—and the food was even better! The meat and sashimi were fresh, high-quality, and some of the best we’ve had in Edmonton. Our kids loved the meat and sushi as well—everything was so well made and delicious. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

I LOVE this place! We’ve been coming for 6 years and it’s just as good every time. Excellent, and incredibly fresh sashimi, presentation is fantastic and the staff are like family now! I love that I can order by the piece so that it leaves room for trying new things when they add them to the menu. Thanks for always being consistent and delicious! We’ll see you again soon!
